Why is only one of my two screens working?
Almost always the video path. Your laptop needs two independent video outputs: either two full-featured USB-C ports, or one USB-C plus HDMI. If you're using the standard USB-C + HDMI setup, the USB-A power cable must also be plugged in — without it the second panel stays dark.
How do I know if my USB-C port supports video?
Look for a DisplayPort or lightning-bolt (Thunderbolt) icon next to the port, or check your laptop's spec sheet for "DP Alt Mode". Charging-only USB-C ports will not drive a panel. Send us your model before ordering and we'll confirm.
Does it work with a MacBook Air?
Base M1 and M2 MacBook Air models natively support one external display, so you'd get one panel. M3, M4 Air (lid-closed mode) and all MacBook Pro models with two Thunderbolt ports run both panels.
Does it fit my 17" laptop?
The magnetic mount is designed for 13" through 17.3" lids. Panels overhang slightly on 13" laptops, which is normal and does not affect stability since the unit also stands freestanding.
Is a power adapter or battery included?
No adapter needed in most setups — the panels are bus powered over USB-C. On HDMI setups the included USB-A cable draws power from your laptop. There is no internal battery, which is how the unit stays at 4 lbs.
Can I use it with a Switch, PS5 or phone?
Yes. Any device with HDMI out or a full-featured USB-C video output can drive the panels — Switch docked, PS4/PS5, Xbox, Android phones with DeX-style desktop modes, and iPads with USB-C.
Can each screen be a different orientation?
Yes. Either wing can be rotated to portrait independently while the other stays landscape — set the rotation per display in Windows Display Settings or macOS Displays.
What exactly ships in the box?
The dual monitor unit, USB-C to USB-C cable, HDMI cable, USB-A power cable, magnetic mount plates and the padded carry case. Monitor only — no laptop or console included.
